Meet the Artists that Make the Art
The 29th annual Jersey City Art
and Studio Tour (JCAST), the state’s premier arts festival, will take place
from October 3 through 6, with miles of art events across Jersey City, plus
kids’ activities, curated art tours, performances, music and more, many of
which are free. Visitors can start at the JCAST HQ, near the Newport PATH stop,
grab a map and go.
JCAST was developed from an
event rooted in artists’ studios, retailers and other downtown spaces,
including the historic 111 First Street art collective. The tour has since
attracted thousands of art aficionados from New York, New Jersey and beyond to
tour hundreds of art and performance spaces.
