Inaugural Hoboken Swap Market
The first Hoboken Swap Market will take place
from 1 to 3 p.m., March 15, at Celebrate Life Studio. A drop-off window will be
available from 4 to 5 p.m., March 14, for those that would like to bring up to
two bags per person early for sorting. The goal of the Swap Market is to keep
good items out of our landfills and prevent the waste associated with
making/shipping new things within our community, all while helping each other
out.
Typical items to be included are portable baby and
children’s clothing, books, toys and games. Unopened children’s food and
personal care products such as shampoo, lotion and diapers are acceptable. No furniture or large
items, bedding, non-functioning electronics, medications, open personal care
items or expired or recalled products.
