Summer learning programs can provide a safe space for youth to learn, play and explore their interests. Hudson County Community College’s (HCCC) Summer Youth and Teen Program provides a variety of engaging, in-person opportunities for elementary, middle and high school students to explore their creativity, learn lifesaving techniques and sharpen their academic skills. All classes are in-person and emphasize self-discovery, cognitive reasoning and cooperative thinking. Classes include Digital Photography, CPR and First Aid for Youths, SAT Prep, and Baking and Culinary Skills.
HCCC serves more than 18,000 credit and non-credit students annually. The college offers nearly 80 degree and certificate programs, including award-winning English as a Second Language; STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics); Culinary Arts/Hospitality Management; Nursing and Health Sciences; and Fine and Performing Arts.
HCCC has partnerships with every major four-year college and university in the greater New Jersey-New York area and beyond, accommodating seamless transfer of credits for further undergraduate and graduate education.
All students taking classes on campus must be vaccinated before starting classes. A one-time $100 incentive for students taking classes in-person and submitting their vaccination is offered.
