Resilience Adventures Present Paddle Sports
Warning: Paddling on the Hudson may increase happiness!
In an extreme urban locale, there is high need for alternative means to stay fit, including work/life balance and having fun outdoors with friends. Kayaking and stand-up paddling provide an excellent full-body workout. Daily balance and relaxation— essential to maintaining health and wellness—are readily accessible on the water. There is nothing more peaceful than getting out of the city and paddling to calm one’s mind at the end of a busy workday or to reset priorities on a weekend morning.
Resilience’s Season Pass 2022 affords the opportunity to paddle frequently this season, offering unlimited classes, tours and paddle fitness sessions. Newcomers to paddling may want a tour or ongoing training to improve technique in order to venture out on self-guided paddling experiences. Either way, Resilience Paddle Sports offers classes and tours designed to increase paddling skills, promote boating safety awareness and get more people out enjoying the water.
Some businesses describe themselves as the cutting-edge. Resilience prefers to think of themselves as the green-blue edge, meaning they connect people to the water and care deeply about the places where land and water meet, including rivers, estuaries, coasts and watersheds. As paddlers, their unique perspective is to preserve and protect this beautiful planet starting at home. See the Get Out and Paddle Newsletter, The Green Blue Edge, featuring conservation events, discussion groups, classes and/or stewardship opportunities.
Advanced lessons, private tours/classes, birthday parties and other group or individual private programs available upon request; prices vary according to duration of program and number of participants.
