Bambino Chef Hosts Spring Break Camp
Bambino Chef—owned by Jersey City certified chef and youth nutrition specialist Rene Gonzalez—will hold a Spring Break Camp from 9 to 11 a.m. April 18- 22, for children ages 4 to 8.
This in-person morning camp (drop-off only) will lead small groups in kitchen activities. Each student will receive a set of ingredients and tools, as well as art supplies and a disposable apron. Camp leaders are fully vaccinated. Masks are required at all times.
Gonzalez launched Bambino Chef based on her experience as a mom who’s gotten her own kids to eat healthy food by getting them involved in the preparation process.
“I love developing kid-friendly recipes and getting creative in the kitchen with kids,” she says.
Bambino Chef offers virtual cooking classes, in-person cooking classes at their studio, after-school enrichment programs and field trips, private group classes, and cooking-themed birthday parties and celebrations.
It also sells scone baking mixes so kids can whip up a batch at home. All they need are a few common ingredients, a spoon and a whisk.
