Local Food Scientist Brews Line of Energy Teas

Dan Levinson, a certified food scientist, started brewing his own energy teas
because he’d always had trouble concentrating, yet he was sick of drinking
coffee and leery of most energy drinks. He got serious about his hobby after
being diagnosed with pre-diabetes and suffering corporate burnout. That’s how
Vibal Energy Tea began.
“I knew I had to make
some major life changes, including cutting the sugar and snacks from my diet
ASAP,” Levinson says. “But as a professional snackologist, this meant risking
it all. I decided to follow my dreams to share my super energy teas with the
world instead, so I could help other people live more focused, healthier,
happier lives.”
He
calls his teas “the perfect all-day pick-me-up.” They are made with a
light-green tea base, then infused with a “balanced boost”: caffeine from raw
coffee seeds, for natural energy; theanine for “alpha focus” and anxiety
relief; and ginseng for mental stamina and stress relief. The teas contain no
artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors or preservatives. They come in Wild Honey, Lemonade, Pomegranate, Tropical Punch
and Spicy Ginger.
