New Meditation Series at the Monroe Center in Hoboken
Kadampa Meditation Center NYC is offering weekly classes, Becoming the Person You Wish To Be, with Jennifer Caruana, from 6 to 7 p.m., Sundays, at Hob’art Gallery, in Hoboken.
Topics include Removing our Resistance to Change on April 3; No More Discouragement on April 10; Insecurity vs. Confidence on April 17; and Becoming the Person You Wish to Be on April 24. These classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners. Although given as a series they can be taken individually as well. Dress is casual.
Caruana says, “By applying Buddha’s profound and practical teachings on the mind and meditation, we learn to connect to our extraordinary potential for change. By applying these skillful methods, we can let go our insecurities and progress towards becoming the kind, effective and joyful person we all wish to be.”
