The New York City and New Jersey Chapters of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) are hosting their inaugural Run/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer at 11a.m. on April 2 at Liberty State Park, in Jersey City. Funds raised through the Run/Walk support the NOCC’s local and national awareness, support and research programs. It is the largest fundraiser and awareness event for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.

The 5K Run (USTA certified) or Walk route at Liberty State Park follows the water and offers spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Organized by local chapter leaders and volunteers, this event celebrates survivors and those lost to ovarian cancer and increases awareness.
